2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to information processed through Kovcheg Post websites, accounts, connected social accounts, API calls, webhooks, support channels and automation workflows. It does not apply to websites, platforms or services operated by third parties, including Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Telegram, Make, n8n, hosting providers or payment processors.
3. Information users provide directly
- Account information: name, email address, password or login credentials, company name, workspace name, role and preferences.
- Support communications: messages, requests, screenshots, feedback, technical details and attachments submitted to support.
- Publishing content: photos, videos, captions, hashtags, links, drafts, approval notes, scheduled times and selected target platforms.
- Billing information: plan, invoice information, tax details and payment status when paid plans are enabled. Payment card details are processed by third-party payment providers and are not stored by Kovcheg Post.
4. Information from connected platforms
When a user connects Instagram, Facebook, Threads or another supported platform through OAuth or an official authorization flow, we may receive and process data allowed by the permissions granted by the user and approved by the platform.
- Account IDs, Page IDs, profile IDs, usernames, display names and profile images.
- Permission scopes, access tokens, token status, expiration information and reconnect status.
- Page, profile or business metadata needed to display selectable publishing destinations.
- Publishing results, platform post IDs, media container IDs, error messages and delivery status.
- Comments, replies, direct messages, webhook events and related metadata only where the user enables those features and the platform grants the required permissions.
5. Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, operating system, device information and approximate location derived from technical data.
- Pages visited, buttons clicked, features used, timestamps and referral information.
- API request metadata, webhook logs, queue events, errors, security logs and diagnostic data.
- Cookie, session and preference data needed for login, security, language selection and website functionality.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we process personal data based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligations. Contract performance covers account operation, OAuth connection, publishing, messaging, support and billing. - Comply with applicable laws, platform terms, security requirements and review obligations.
8. Automated processing
Kovcheg Post uses automated systems to receive content, validate required fields, queue jobs, format requests, call platform APIs, retry failed operations and send status updates. These automated processes are part of the core publishing workflow. Users remain responsible for reviewing content, selecting target accounts and verifying important publications. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects for users.
9. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information only in the following cases:
- Service providers: hosting, storage, infrastructure, email, analytics, security, support, payment and monitoring providers that help operate the Service.
- Connected platforms: selected content and metadata are transmitted to Instagram, Facebook, Threads or other platforms chosen by the user.
- Business transfers: information may be transferred if the Service is reorganized, sold, merged or transferred, subject to reasonable notice where required.
- Legal requirements: information may be disclosed to comply with law, court orders, government requests, fraud prevention, security investigations or protection of rights and safety.
10. Third-party platform responsibility
Once content is transmitted to a third-party platform, that platform processes the content under its own terms, policies and privacy rules. Kovcheg Post cannot guarantee deletion, editing, reach, visibility, moderation outcomes or account decisions made by third-party platforms.
11. International data transfers
Data may be processed in countries where our infrastructure, service providers, users or connected platforms operate. Where required by law, we use reasonable safeguards such as contractual commitments, access controls, data minimization and technical security measures.
12. Security measures
- Encrypted transport using HTTPS/TLS.
- Restricted access to production systems and connected platform credentials.
- Token storage controls and revocation when accounts are disconnected.
- Logging, monitoring and incident response procedures.

No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to protect data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Data retention

Typical retention periods depend on account status, legal requirements and feature use.

- Access tokens: until the account is disconnected, permission expires or deletion is requested.

- Publication logs and technical logs: retained for support, security and audit needs, then deleted or anonymized.
- Billing records: retained as required by tax, accounting and legal obligations.

16. Meta data and access revocation
Users may revoke Kovcheg Post access to Instagram, Facebook and Threads data by disconnecting accounts in Kovcheg Post settings when available or by removing app access in Meta account settings. After revocation, we stop new actions for the disconnected asset and delete stored access tokens unless retention is required for security, legal or audit reasons.

18. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that a child has provided data without appropriate authorization, we will delete it where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, laws, platform requirements or business operations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means the updated policy applies.
