Meta App Review Preparation

This page describes the intended App Review scenario for Meta permissions used by Kovcheg Post.

Permissions to justify

• instagram_business_basic – show connected Instagram professional account details.
• instagram_business_content_publish – publish user-approved media to Instagram.
• instagram_business_manage_comments – read and reply to Instagram comments.
• instagram_business_manage_messages – receive and reply to Instagram messages.
• pages_show_list – let users choose Facebook Pages they manage.
• pages_read_engagement – read Page metadata needed for selection and publishing confirmation.
• pages_manage_posts – publish user-approved posts to Facebook Pages.
• pages_manage_metadata – configure webhook subscriptions where needed.
• threads_basic – show connected Threads profile details.
• threads_content_publish – publish user-approved content to Threads.

Review flow

1. Reviewer logs in with test credentials.
2. Reviewer connects a Meta account through OAuth.
3. Reviewer selects Instagram, Facebook Page and Threads assets.
4. Reviewer uploads a photo and caption.
5. Reviewer publishes to selected channels and sees API results.
6. Reviewer opens data deletion instructions and disconnects accounts.
